Project Overview

I had the opportunity to participate in the Sustainable Engineering Hackathon, where my team and I tackled the challenge of developing innovative solutions for renewable energy applications. This competition brought together multidisciplinary teams to design and prototype technologies that promote sustainability and energy efficiency.

In response to the challenge, we developed a solar-powered smart device integrating Arduino, designed to optimize energy consumption and enhance accessibility to renewable energy sources. By leveraging embedded systems and IoT technologies, our project aimed to demonstrate how intelligent automation can support a more sustainable future.

Beyond its technical features, our device encouraged user engagement in energy-saving practices and showcased the potential of decentralized renewable energy solutions. Its adaptive design allowed for seamless integration into urban and rural environments, contributing to a vision of accessible and sustainable energy.

This experience enabled me to apply my engineering and problem-solving skills in a high-pressure, collaborative environment. Our project was awarded 2nd place, recognizing our innovation in sustainable energy solutions.
